Regional Production
Aromatic herbs, garlic and onion are cultivated in all Spanish region. They are also grown in domestic gardens, orchards, balconies and terraces. For instance, onion is a very important part of Spanish agriculture and has local varieties: Valencia spring onion, onion camusa in Galicia, Castilla-Leon the white onion, the Figueres onion in Catalonia, or the typical "Calçot Valls.".
